What is this?: The New Millennium Antioxidant with Selenium and ACE. Made in New Zealand, Enzogenol is a highly active natural antioxidant complex derived from the bark of the New Zealand Pine. Enzogenol combines the proven antioxidant benefits of Beta carotene, Ester C, Natural Vitamin E, Selenium, Citrus Bioflavonoids, Cysteine and Methionine. This is a broad-spectrum antioxidant which provides improved protection for cells against the harmful effects of free radicals. Each tablet provides 150mg Enzogenol. Adults: 1 to 3 tablets daily.

In the early 1990s, a talented multi-disciplined team at the University of Canterbury, representing biochemistry, biology, organic chemistry, chemical and process engineering, free radical research and natural product processing, recognised the need for a more effective antioxidant. They started a project to identify the most pure, rich and natural source of antioxidant and to develop an environmentally-clean process for its extraction. They were a great deal more successful in their search for a pure source of natural antioxidant than they had dared hope, for in the bark of Pinus radiata, they found a mother lode of highly active antioxidants.
Bark is rich in flavonoid antioxidant, and research has established that pine bark is particularly so. The result of the combined research and commercial implementation is ENZOGENOL(TM) a new highly active anti-oxidant that contains improved levels of important flavonoids and also incorporates other significant anti-oxidants that are lost in conventional solvent based processing.
This powerful new formulation of antioxidants is derived from the pine bark of the Pinus radiata tree, grown in the finest environment that Mother Nature can provide, free from the pollution of man. . Never has any process extracted such an abundant spectrum of bioflavonoids, monomeric and oligomeric proanthocyanidins, organic acids, flavonoid glycosides, and esters.
